Singapore is one of the most famous tourist destinations of Asia. Singapore is one of the cleanest and orderly cities of the world. It is known for its skyscrapers and high-tech architecture but some of its unusual destinations will really want you to come again and enjoy them one more time.

1. The Singapore Flyer

If you can’t visit London to see the London Eye, check out the Singapore Flyer which stands 30m higher than the original London Eye. You can view whole of Singapore including some parts of Malaysia on this 30 minute ride.

2. Singapore Zoo Night Safaris

You’ve seen day safaris in Africa but Singapore offers live night safaris. Using artificial lights as moonlight, visitors are able to spot nocturnal animals as they thrive in a makeshift habitat. Over 1000 animals in different geographical areas are kept for visitors to see and you’ll also get a chance to click a picture of you wrapped around with a python.

3. Fish Spa

Relax and let the doctor fish eat away all the dead skin from your feet. Flown in especially from the Middle East, these fish give you a pedicure which you are bound to remember forever. It pinches a little bit but when you see your feet in the end, you won’t believe how hard that fish worked to give you such results.

4. Sungei Buloh Wetland Reserve

Sungei Buloh Wetland Reserve is one of the cheapest natural reserve park you’ll across in Asia. Its entry is free and you’ll get to see over 200 species of exotic birds. It is one of those scenic spots which have not been touched by mankind’s advancement and is truly a beautiful site to see.

5. Kong Meng San Phor Kark See Monastery

Kong Meng San Phor Kark See Monastery or Bright Hill Temple is the largest Buddhist temple in Singapore. There are huge sized Buddhas and lush green gardens over here. One of the most fascinating fact about this temple is that there is a rumor that the ex-Prime Minister of Singapore used to come here and ask for advices from monks of the temple.

6. Haw Par Villa

Haw Par Villa or the Tiger Balm Gardens were originally made for promotion of the Tiger balm and its other products. It is a major tourist destination for Chinese since you’ll see loads of statues from Chinese mythology in these gardens. One of the popular attraction of this site is the Ten Courts of Hell where you’ll see the 10 steps of judgment before reincarnation. You can purchase a bottle of tiger balm or adhesive bandages from this site.

7. Henderson Wave Bridge

This is another one of Singapore’s unique architectural magnificence. It is the highest pedestrian bridge in the country at about 36m high and connects Mount Faber Park to Telok Blangah Hill Park. It has an astounding wave like structure made of pure steel. You can view a lot of flora and fauna from this bridge. At night, it even gets better when the bridge is illuminated with LED lights from 7pm to 2am.

Other good destinations include Merlion Park, Fountain of Wealth, and Esplanade. Singapore will make you ask for more and you will never get disappointed by it.
